The Out-of-School Children (OOSC) Project, a collaboration between the Community Development Foundation (CDF-Pakistan), the Directorate of Literacy and Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE), and JICA-AQAL, focuses on enrolling out-of-school children in Umerkot. Launched in April 2025 and running until March 2028, the initiative provides a safe and nurturing learning environment through the establishment of twenty non-formal education centers, with 35 learners at each center. By offering an accelerated, non-formal curriculum, the OOSC Project bridges the education gap and creates opportunities for a brighter future for children who have never attended school.
